Welcome

Making meaningful progress toward achieving digital equity is one of Governor Andy Beshear’s top priorities. Through his Better Internet Plan, Gov. Beshear is committed to ensuring all Kentuckians have access to reliable high-speed internet and the right devices to access that technology, while also ensuring necessary resources are allocated to identify barriers to affordability and assure there is training and support available to develop our citizens’ digital skills.

The Office of Systems Equity is your resource and primary point of contact for all things related to Digital Equity in the commonwealth. You can email us or call us at 502-564-0372 if you have questions or comments.

Thank you to all who contributed to Kentucky’s Digital Equity State Plan. The public comment period is now closed, and the report has been submitted to the U.S. Department of Commerce (USDOC) for approval.

The content of the report is subject to change based upon the USDOC curating process and the feedback received. Please check back later to view the final report.

We value your input!
Please complete a brief questionnaire about your organization’s location and current efforts underway to help Kentuckians access and use the internet. The information collected through this questionnaire will ultimately be included in an interactive, web-based plan to help Kentucky communities address the digital divide, which they can then use to adapt to their communities’ specific needs.
